Rewrite with AI

A one-click button that turns rough notes into clear, polished wording - right on the text fields where your team writes, with a monthly usage cap.

Writing clear support content takes time. Rewrite with AI puts a one-click button next to the text fields where admins write - it takes what you've typed and rewrites it into clearer, better wording. Same meaning, same facts - better phrasing.

You'll find it on:

  • Knowledge articles - turn bullet points into a clear, structured explanation.
  • Announcements - tighten a draft into something concise and skimmable.
  • Incident replies - polish a quick note into a professional response.

How it works

Click ✨ Rewrite with AI under the field. The assistant rewrites your text and shows it in a preview - nothing changes until you click "Use this" (or "Discard" to keep your original). It's context-aware:

WhereWhat you get
AnnouncementConcise and skimmable
Knowledge articleA clear, well-structured explanation for end users
Incident replyPolished, professional and on topic

It uses your workspace profile (your sector, tone and description) and answers in the same language you wrote in - type Dutch, get Dutch; type English, get English. It never invents facts, names or numbers you didn't write.

Who can use it: admins and owners only - they're the ones authoring articles and announcements. Agents and members don't see the button.

Usage limit

To keep AI costs predictable, each workspace gets a monthly cap on Rewrite-with-AI uses (100 per month by default). The button shows how many rewrites are left this month, and once the cap is reached it's simply disabled with a note that it resets next month - no error, nothing to chase up. The count resets automatically at the start of each month.

Good to know

  • Preview-first. Your text is never overwritten until you accept the suggestion.
  • No silent changes. Rewrite only happens when you click, on the field you choose.
  • In the app, not the widgets. This is an authoring aid for your team; the public chat widget has its own behavior.
